In the heart of Montebello Vicentino, among volcanic hills and rows of Garganega vines, the world of Nicola Menti takes shape: a winery deeply connected to its territory and to an agricultural vision that respects nature.
Here, wine is born from a balance made of time, biodiversity and identity. But above all, it is born from the earth.
What makes this territory unique are its volcanic soils: ancient basaltic rocks capable of leaving a precise and recognizable signature in the wines, made of energy, sapidity and mineral tension.
It is from this vision that Menti Vini was born, a winery that Poggiana has chosen to represent through the INVINO Division, as part of a research journey dedicated to authentic producers deeply connected to their own territories.
The true protagonist is Garganega, the symbolic grape variety of the Gambellara area, capable of expressing itself with extraordinary versatility: still wines, elegant sparkling wines and distinctive interpretations that sincerely tell the soul of the Conca d’Oro.
Among the most representative labels are Rivalonga, an intense and deep Garganega capable of combining elegance and mineral persistence, and Terranera, a volcanic Prosecco that surprises with its refined, vibrant and far from conventional character.
In the vineyard, biodiversity is not an abstract concept. Bees are not merely guests, but essential guardians of a living ecosystem where vineyards, olive trees and spontaneous nature coexist.
This idea of volcanic viticulture is what makes Menti Vini a unique reality in the contemporary Veneto wine scene.
For us at Poggiana, telling the story of wineries like Menti Vini means sharing producers who are able to transform their territory into something that remains impressed in the glass and in the memory.
